Mr. Laflin was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2014 after graduating magna cum laude from Capital University Law School. During his second year at Capital, he became a Marshall-Brennan Fellow and taught constitutional law principles to high school students at Eastmoor Academy in Columbus. He also interned for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. After law school, Mr. Laflin worked for a private criminal defense firm in Franklin County, where he appeared in juvenile, municipal, and common pleas court and argued in front of the Tenth District Court of Appeals. He joined Burkett & Sanderson, Inc. in October 2018.
